I, myself, have a younger brother who was adopted at three years old from China. He was born with a unilateral cleft lip, cleft palate, and alveolar cleft. Therefore, while reading these blogs, I was very familiar with most of the procedures that were listed. It was just very neat to hear other’s stories! I also loved the absolutely adorable pictures of the children. The happiness in Joey’s smile reminds me of my brother and his goofy ways. I also adore the before and after pictures. They show the progress of the dedicated surgeons and other teams. I know personally that it is incredible the work that they can do. Though, whether the before or after, the children look so cute and lovable! Thank you to all of the parents who have shared their children’s stories!
